As a big fan of massively multiplayer online role playing games, or MMORPGs, I recently rediscovered one of my first love’s, my Anarchy Online account. In it, you can create a character of four different races, and choose from a plethora of different professions, like an Adventurer, Soldier, Shade, or even an Engineer or a Bureaucrat, amongst others, and you can choose to go solo, join organizations to work as part of a team.
The story is set thousands of years ahead on a distant desert planet Rubi Ka, where the Omni Tek corporation, the separatist clans, terrorist groups, extraterrestrial life and ancient civilizations all fight each other for military and political power.
There are also beginner areas, where you can train yourself before you get into the meat of the game. Also, one of the best parts of having an Anarchy Online account for me, is that there’s no main objective, as in there’s no real way to win the game. There’s no final boss or anything, you just get to keep playing in a fun, interactive environment.
The best part? It’s free! Meaning you don’t need to buy Anarchy Online accounts to play! Although, if you want the expansion packs (three of which won 20 international awards), then you do need to have Anarchy Online credits. You can buy Anarchy Online credits directly online through your Anarchy Online account quickly and with ease.
